Hello, my name is Jay.
I am a single father of two teenagers.
My daughter Jenna is a senior at Arkadelphia High School. She is into art, fashion and music. My son Dakota is a sophmore at Bismarck High
School. He is into sports, computer
technology, and hunting & fishing. I
myself live in Bismarck. I am a
honorably United States Air Force veteran, having served during Desert
Shield/Storm in the early 90's. I worked
for an air conditioning company making sure we had a good quality product
leaving out the doors. Recently after 20
years on the job, I lost my job to overseas China. I am starting a new career and in the process
of going to school at Henderson State University to become a teacher. I am specializing in Middle School Education
in Language Arts and Social Studies. I
hope to bring the knowledge and experience of the real world I have learned and
add it to the profession of teaching. I
love kids and all the new ideas that can be brought out of each individual that
will give me the drive and enjoyment of being a teacher. I enjoy the outdoors in bicycling, walking,
hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, just enjoy nature. I am into fitness, eating right and feeling
good about myself. I enjoy reading
books, currently Non Western literature, learning about what cultures from
around the world have to offer, new insights. I enjoy movies such as comedies,
romance, sci-fi, action adventure, Horror, not really anything I don't like as
long as it is made well. Currently, my
kid’s activities keep me very busy because I like to be there and involved with
them as much as possible. I enjoy
music...currently like all genres. If it
is catchy and keeps everyone having a good time I am all for it. I would like to focus this blog mostly on
music particularly 80's music when I was growing up and rocking!!! Music will always be interesting. Let's talk music.
